{"id":3901,"date":"2017-06-05T20:26:00","date_gmt":"2017-06-05T20:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/danielle.muntyan.co.uk\/?p=3901"},"modified":"2017-07-23T18:31:05","modified_gmt":"2017-07-23T18:31:05","slug":"additional-interviewsimage-requests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/danielle.muntyan.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/06\/05\/additional-interviewsimage-requests\/","title":{"rendered":"Additional Interviews\/Image Requests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Additional interviews have been carried out with the following in order to gain different perspectives on my research topic to include in my magazine:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stephane Alexandre from Milk and Honey &#8211; interview regarding the blogger collective showcasing a positive platform for young women to view online &#8211; including fashion, lifestyle, beauty, travel and faith.<\/li>\n<li>Nadine LeBlond &#8211; perspective on the Fashion industry, body image and self-perception from the viewpoint of an Art Director\/Creative Director.<\/li>\n<li>Charlotte Stacey &#8211; viewpoint of a Westerner living in Japan, and her perspective on Japanese beauty trends.<\/li>\n<li>Bobbie Rae (Gastall) &#8211; viewpoint of a feminist illustrator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All interviews have carried out the same ethical practices as laid out in semester 2, following good working practice.<\/p>\n<p>Additional images for the magazine have been requested from the following forming a collaborative nature and involvement in the magazine:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nadine LeBlond<\/li>\n<li>Talia White<\/li>\n<li>Charlotte Stacey<\/li>\n<li>Bobbi Rae (Gastall)<\/li>\n<li>Nicole Takahashi<\/li>\n<li>ASOS<\/li>\n<li>Milk and Honey (Stephane Alexandre)<\/li>\n<li>&#8216;Selfie Callout&#8217; &#8211; a callout was used on social media platforms to gain selfies from people whom wished to be apart of my &#8216;selfie feature&#8217; in the magazine. I had over 30 responses from a range of males and females varying in age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">This is working towards objective:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0To understand the ways in which Social Media and Magazines can affect self-perceptions and issues:<\/p>\n<p>A) With body image (Females, 18-24)<\/p>\n<p>B) With body image on a cross-cultural scale (Females, 18-24; Tokyo, Japan).<\/p>\n<p>2. To understand policies and guidelines within the Fashion and Beauty Industries currently encouraging positive body image.<\/p>\n<p>3. To work with and interview those both actively working in the Fashion and Beauty Industries, and those on a consumer\/follower\/user basis, to compare behaviours and perspectives in relation to body image and self-perceptions.<\/p>\n<p>4.
